Gooseberry Falls State Park

The river and the waterfall were starting to thaw, there were huge chunks of ice floating downstream. By this point in our trip we were close to five hours north of home. When we left home it was chilly but our snow had mostly melted. Daddy wears long johns under his jeans every day during the winter. But, it had gotten warm enough at home that he had stopped wearing them daily. I forgot to pack them! We had to stop at a store and pick up a pair. It was amazing how much colder it was in a different part of our own state.
