to set just a bit so the light won't be so harsh. The photographer did an awesome job, especially considering there were 17 of us!
Flying a Kite
Cousin C brought his kite to the beach and got it in the air when Baby arrived and had to fly the kite. C patiently showed him how and waited(and waited and waited) while Baby flew the kite.
Sunday Lunch
We got up bright and early Sunday morning, packed the car and headed to Emerald Isle, NC arriving in time for lunch on the porch with my parents, my sisters, their husbands and the cousins!
Slow Dancing
There were several slow dances, even a waltz. Daddy requested our song, "Heaven" by Bryan Adams, we haven't danced to that in years.
The party was quite a success! Some gathered after for games and visiting, we headed to my parents home. Our plan was to leave for the beach bright and early.

Put on your dancing shoes!
The children all protested greatly when I told them they would have to dance at the party. I told them they needed to dance with their grandparents and their parents and then they could sit out the rest of the dances. They had a ball, they danced with each other, their cousins, aunts and uncles and the line and party dances. They hardly left the dance floor.
