In November we made our first trip back to NC since our move two plus years ago. We planned our trip to include a stop in Petersburg, Kentucky at the Creation Museum, a ministry of Answers in Genesis. We left Thursday evening after hockey practice and drove to somewhere near Cedar Rapids, IA. Friday we drove to near Cincinnati, OH just miles from the museum. Saturday we spent at the museum and then drove to Wytheville, VA. Sunday we arrived in Cary at my inlaws home just after noontime. We had great weather for the trip, no traffic and no construction. All of the children traveled well. Baby, who is in the midst of potty learning, had NO accidents on the trip. We thoroughly enjoyed the museum.
