When the boys heard about Skillet being in concert they had to check out the date and location, they were disappointed to learn that the concert was in Duluth(about five hours north) and while we were going to be in NC. Later, much later we learned that Skillet was going to be in Minneapolis and before we left on vacation. Daddy and I tried to surprise them with a trip to the concert, telling them we were going to get our hair cut. Smart boys that they are, they had figured it out the night before. So, it wasn't a surprise but, it was still a lot of fun! The Letter Black opened, followed by Decypher Down, then Hawk Nelson and finally Skillet. All four bands had awesome testimonies and it was cool to watch a auditorium full of headbanging teens, tweens and young adults cheering about Jesus. Other than wishing I had remembered my ear plugs(it was a tad loud) I had a great time too.
