Geocache at our State Park

In every state park in Minnesota there are geocaches. One placed by the state parks and then there may be others placed by individuals. The ones placed by the Park Rangers are a treasure hunt with questions to answer. If you choose the correct answer you get a correct coordinate if you don't you are off on a wild goose chase. Thankfully, they have provided information pages to help you on your quest. Our State Park's challenge was the milk snake. Which was so named because it was thought to drink the milk from cows. More likely they were hanging around the barn looking for mice. Some of the state parks have loaner GPS units so you can try out this family adventure even if you don't have the technology. Our local state park had three geocaches, we did two. Grampa set off to find the third while we enjoyed a snack with Gramma. We decided to wait on the third quest until our cousins arrived the following week.
