Council Bluffs, Iowa

We were discussing how Council Bluffs got its name. I told the boys it was named after the meeting between the Lewis and Clark Expedition and the Otoe Tribe. We were remarking how it would be easy to find the meeting at the "bluff" and not so easy to find the meeting at the "flat spot on the prairie".
