After our trips
to Lakes Bemidji and Itasca we headed back to Camp Cuyuna. We got back late Saturday night, Big Brother slept at our campsite and we fit in some fishing and canoeing early Sunday morning. We had to get Big Brother back to work Sunday at 10 am. Before the Scout Troops arrived for the week, the staff was having their Christmas in July Secret Santa exchange. Their rules: the cost had to be less than $5 and preferably homemade. Big Brother drew one of the camp rangers, his mentor. He took photos and made the frame himself. I would have been pleases to recieve that gift, and his mentor was. Big Brother's gift was a handcarved walking stick with his name carved in the top. He too was pleased.
