After a busy weekend

Daddy headed back to SD for work early Monday morning. His parents arrived Monday afternoon. After they filled up on grandchildren snuggles they were eager to see him. So, on Wednesday we headed to Lake Shetek State Park. The weather was supposed to be warm and sunny and the other park we met at while on the water, didn't have a public beach. So I found another meet in the middle park, this one with a lake. My understanding is that the nearest translation of shetek from Ojibwe to English is pelican. The weather ended up being cool and rainy but had a yummy picnic anyway!
