Lookout

The male guinea on the slope is watching out for his harem while they graze. In addition to eating bugs they make great watchbirds as they have a loud warning cry. Their meat is good, considered a delicacy in French cooking, and the eggs, while smaller than chicken eggs (and with VERY tough shells) and a little tough to find, are very rich. If you've ever watched _The Lion King_ you've seen guineas running near the beginning of the movie. The funny thing is, they run just like the animated guineas do.
