Headed to Camp

Big Brother is headed to camp. This weekend is an Order of the Arrow work weekend. Then staff week begins on Monday. He is Eagle Trail Specialist this summer. He will be teaching the first year scouts knots, lashings, orienteering, knife, ax and hatchet use, fire building . . .all imortant skills on the trail to Eagle. He will be gone until August 3rd! We plan to go visit him a couple of times. He was a tad reluctant to go, and I'm being kind. But, he had a wonderful time last summer and couldn't wait to go back. Sometimes the hardest job of a parent is to give them a little push out of the nest.
