Hatching!
Right on time, too. They were "scheduled" to begin hatching on June 8th. Before I went to bed on June 7th, I checked on them. I could hear them peeping! And one was pecking her way out. Look at the picture with just the eggs in the incubator, look at the underside of the top left hand egg and you can see a tiny hole! When I awoke in the morning there were three baby chicks. The little one on its back is newly hatched, still wet and its "belly button" is not even healed yet. That is where she absorbs the remaining yolk.
