Cotonwood Trees

The cottonwood trees are having a banner year. In some places it looks like it has snowed. The buds are little, round, green pods and when they break open this fluff comes out and drifts away on the breeze. The big tree in my yard that I love to take pics of is a cottonwood. I don't remember all this white stuff last year. A native said that this was the worst year for cottonwood trees that he'd ever seen.
