Her Biggest Joy

is riding. There was no therapeutic riding stable near us when we moved to MN so I looked at other stables. I found one where the instructor is a 4 H leader, and the mom of a child with CP. She is awesome, patient yet pushes Big Sister to be her best. She has a variety of horses and switches depending on what skills she is working on with Big Sister. Big Sister uses no adaptive equipment anymore, she sometimes holds onto the sadle especially when she is loping (I'll let you in on a little secret, sometimes I do too!) Her biggest challenge is keeping her right heel down. They've been working on games: poles, barrels, pennant race and keyhole dash. The brown horse is Botzer, the chestnut is Pokey and the palomino is Sadie.
