Big Brother's Foot

I dropped Big and Little Brother off Friday afternoon, in the rain, at the Scout garage where they packed and left for the Spring Camporee. Saturday afternoon the Scout Master called. It is never a good thing for the Scout Master to call when he's got your boys. It seems that while Big Brother was participating in an obstacle course set up by the National Guard he jumped from a ten foot height onto a inflatable bounce house type pad. Unfortunately, he landed wrong. The EMT's examined, wrapped and iced it. They did not think it was broken, but it sure was swollen. Coincidentally, Big Brother was not the only injury on this obstacle. Big Brother came home for RICE: rest, ice, compression and elevation. Little Brother stayed at camp and had an awesome weekend.
