My parents were gracious enough to come to Minnesota in February so Daddy and I could fly to California for his niece's wedding. So, while I was dipping my pedicured toes in the Pacific ocean, snow was flying in Minnesota. I was speaking to my Dad on the phone before they arrived and was telling him that the weather had been unseasonably warm, he said, "So while we are there, there will be a blizzard?" Half a Country Apart
