According to the weather station at the local airport our lowest raw temp was -27 degrees F. From Monday through Friday night the temperature never crept above zero, I think the high was -3 degrees F. And of course we had high winds this week, the windchills were in the -40 - -47 degree F range. The public, private and parochial schools cancelled or delayed classes everyday this week. Our high on Sunday of this week was 20 degrees F and felt positively balmy. Tuesday, February 3, 2009
