Chicken Butchering Day(s)



We raised 96 Cornish Cross meat birds this time. Half were for our family, half for a friend at church. We split the butchering into two days, two weeks apart. The first weekend after church we had our church family over for a covered dish meal. We cooked a couple of the chickens in the crockpots and a couple on the grill. Everyone brought sides, it was yummy.
