We planted the carrots, but neither Daddy nor I ever expected them to grow. And we didn't think they had either because they were hidden in the weeds. When Grampa was here, he found them while hoeing. I thinned them out. The chickens and pigs enjoyed the itty bitty teeny tiny carrots. And now we are enjoying the full grown ones. I cut, blanched and froze some. Some we buried in sand in a wooden box to keep for use this winter. Some we ate right out of the garden, yum.
