read the piece of torn notebook paper on the board at the feed store. Since it will take the keets several weeks to grow and we have ticks now, I added these four to our flock. They are staying inside the chicken coop and the outdoor run for now as they learn where they live, but lookout bugs here they come. The children were trying to determine if they were males or females which is done by their call. They thought at least one was a female because it's call sounds like "Buckwheat".
