Big Sister has been riding for years, she started at a Therapeutic Riding Stable in Wilmington NC, then in Goldsboro NC and Clayton NC. Every week I would help her groom and watch her ride, remembering my time in the saddle. When we moved to MN I was unable to find a Therapuetic Stable close to us. So I found a typical stable with an awesome instructor. Instructor has a daughter with CP and has other riders, some with challenges, some typical. Some time this spring, Instructor wanted to see me ride, so she would know if I could be another adult on trail rides for safety, and in the arena for a distraction. She didn't have to twist my arm. Oh, do I love riding. and it's so much fun to share it with Big Sister. Gramma and Grampa went to the stable with us to watch Big Sister's lesson. Grampa got a few pics of us on horseback.
